Earlier this year, a car jumped the curb by our house
and flipped up and landed on a large crepe myrtle alongside
the house, keeping the car from crashing into our living
room. Thankful that the poor plant saved the living room
but sorry to see it destroyed...or so I thought.
This still life contains blossoms from the new sprouted
plant that has arisen in it's place. Those are tough plants.
This is 8" x 10", oil on gessoed masonite.
