Bar Harbor Docks

This is oil on masonite, 9" x 12".
It's a scene on a sunny day in
Bar Harbor, Maine. I painted this
scene from a photo provided to me
by the person who took it while on
vacation. It's one of the most painted
and photographed areas on the
east coast. I'd love to see this for
myself because painting from life
would be much better than working
from a photo but I have to say
this one was fun.

Hillside Grazers

This is a painting of two horses having a leisure
time just west of Fayetteville, Arkansas last fall.
No human prompting could dissuade them from
the grass directly under them.
It's oil on masonite, 9" x 12" and hopefully
will grace a wall in Austin, Texas soon.

White Teapot With Fruit

This was painted yesterday in a session
as a demo. Oil on masonite, 9" x 12" on
gessoed masonite. First painting of the
new year! I hope everyone enjoys the best
of everything this coming year and that
everyone can breathe easier and enjoy
life a little more.

Pink Peonies In A Jar

This is a 9" x 12" oil on masonite
painted in the studio from life in a
demo session. Yet another floral, which
is a lot of fun to paint when working
on technique or color mixing. Staying
loose is sometimes a problem with me
but flowers make it easier.

Philbrook Museum Pond

This was painted two weeks ago on the grounds
of the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa, in the garden.
For those familiar with the location, this was one
of the small coy ponds east of the main building,
looking southwest towards the south lawn. It's
acrylic and oil, 9" x 12" on canvas.

Magnolia Still Life

This is a 9" x 12" oil on masonite
painted this morning. This is one of a series
of floral still lifes for my October show
at the Tulsa Rose Garden.
