Waiting Patiently
While visiting Lexington, Virginia, I saw these horses
waiting for the next load of visitors to climb aboard the
carriage for the next tour of the town. All the time they
stood there, not moving an inch except the horse in the
foreground turned his head to look at me a couple of times.
Before I left, I just had to go touch him and I discovered that
they enjoy a rub behind the ears as much as a dog.
