Buffalo River

This is a 9" x 12" oil on panel painting of a section
of the Buffalo River in Northern Arkansas. God's country.
This was in late fall and the water was fast moving
and a very strange pea green color. Seemed to be free
of mud and such and relatively clean but still greenish.
The area had recently experienced a deluge of rain
that brought the Buffalo out of it's banks and maybe that's
the reason for the color.

Roses & Glass

This is a 9" x 12" oil on masonite still life
painted in studio from life. No, there never
really was any water in the vase. Should
have added that little touch, though.

Three In a Row

These three houses are near downtown
Tulsa, Oklahoma and are obviously an early version
of the duplex concept, circa 1920's.
Late summer afternoon along Victor St.

Boxley Church

This old church is located in Boxley, Arkansas.
It's in the area where the Buffalo River meanders
through the Ozarks, east of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
