This painting was the result of observing a young lady and her mother
enjoying the afternoon at Swan Lake park in Tulsa. I had taken
my easel to paint outdoors and during the whole experience,
they never noticed they were the subject of a quick glimpse of life.
This is a painting done as a class demonstration.
It's oil on masonite, 9" x 12" unframed.
I use simple objects for still life reference
when teaching but will begin several figures studies
in the near future to add
to this blog for a little variety.
This blog has been created to post my paintings online as
I finish them. Each painting is available for sale.
I'm an illustrator and I do have a business to contend with but I've become
fascinated with the idea of marketing my images in oil on masonite
or canvas and also make them available in giclee print form.
That will come later but it'll make the images you'll see
here more affordable. If you have any questions concerning my paintings,
or want to offer your opinions of them, please feel free
email me or post a reply.
